Privacy Policy.

Kingston Radius is a free live music calendar. There are no accounts, and the site never asks you for your name, email address, or any other personal details. It does use a few Google services (analytics, fonts, and possibly ads) that collect standard browsing information, and the Map view loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap. The details are below.

• Visit data (Google Analytics). The site uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages are used. Google collects information such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, your approximate location (city level), and how you arrived at the site, using cookies or similar technologies. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Server information. The site is hosted by Netlify, which, like any web host, receives standard connection details such as your IP address and browser type when a page loads.
• Fonts. Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when a page opens.

The site may display ads from Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar identifiers to show ads, including ads based on your previous visits to this or other websites. You can manage or turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Ads may not be showing at any given time; this section applies whenever they are.

The site saves a few things in your own browser's storage (not on our servers, and we can't see them): your light or dark mode choice, which view (List, Feed, Wall or Map) you used last, the shows you save with the heart, the zip code you enter for My Radius (see below), and a saved copy of the show listings so pages load faster. Saved shows stay on your device; they are never sent to us. You can clear all of this at any time in your browser settings.

If you use the My Radius feature and enter a zip code, your browser sends that zip code to a free third-party lookup service, Zippopotam.us, to find its map location. Distances are then estimated in your browser. We never receive or store your zip code.

Only when you open the Map view, your browser loads the Leaflet map library from Cloudflare's cdnjs and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Like any website you visit, those services can see your IP address, browser details, and which part of the map you are viewing. We don't receive that information. They have their own policies: OpenStreetMap and Cloudflare. If you never open the map, none of this happens.

Listings link to venue websites, ticket pages, and Google Maps. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and Kingston Radius is not affiliated with or responsible for them. Show information is gathered from public venue websites, newsletters, and social posts.

We don't sell or rent personal information, we don't run user accounts, and the site is not directed at children under 13.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use the opt-out links above, or browse in a private window. The site still works if you do. If you have a question about information related to you, email us.
